In this dynamic class, we focus on empowering young actors to elevate their self-taping proficiency, a crucial skill for the audition room and screen tests. Whether you're an intermediate actor or an experienced one, our Industry-Driven Class is designed to enhance your self-taping techniques, enabling you to shine in front of casting directors and agents alike.

Tailored for Every Aspiring Actor:

While some students in this class may already have agency representation, we welcome those who are in the process of seeking representation. This class serves as a valuable resource for both, providing a platform for growth and development regardless of your current status.

Crafting Your Journey:

At the term's end, Industry-Driven students will receive a package containing a minimum of two carefully polished scenes. Delivered via secure platforms such as Dropbox or WeTransfer, these scenes are ready to be shared with agents and casting directors, showcasing your evolving talent and commitment to excellence. These scenes are tailored to industry-related content, including TV and film scenes, commercials, and other materials that align with each student's casting type and skill set.

Stage and Screen Fusion:

Participants will have the opportunity to perform in 'Scenes on Stage,' a captivating segment of APS' mid-year Theatre showing. This unique experience not only allows you to showcase your skills in front of a live audience but also offers a valuable chance to analyse the nuances between screen and stage performance, enriching your versatility as an actor. The performance dates for 'Scenes on Stage' will be confirmed as one of the following: 25th, 26th, 27th, 29th, or 30th June. The exact date is yet to be confirmed. The venue for the performance will be Moorabbin Town Hall.
