This weekly class is designed for teen actors at all stages — from complete beginners to those with prior experience on screen or stage. With a strong focus on developing craft through exploration and collaboration, this class gives students the chance to push their skills in a practical, fun, and technique-driven environment.

Each week, students dive into scene work, improvisation, and exercises that strengthen their ability to embody characters truthfully and remain in the moment. They’ll explore acting tools like objectives, stakes, actions, backstory, physicality and more. They will learn how to apply these tools to bring scripted scenes to life. In-class filming helps actors develop on-screen confidence and technical awareness, with mid-shot taping, playback, and constructive feedback from their teacher built into the process.

Beyond technique, this class is also about helping students discover what makes them unique as performers. They’ll be encouraged to make bold choices and reflect on their work during playback.
