Screen Acting Technique: Ringwood Teens Acting Performance Studio

Screen Acting Technique: Ringwood Teens

Welcome to Screen Acting: Teens

Real scenes. Real skill. Real growth.

This weekly class helps teen actors strengthen their craft through imagination, play, and technique. Students explore how to make bold, truthful choices, build authentic characters, and stay connected in every moment, both on stage and on camera.

Through improvisation, acting exercises, and scene work, students learn to use professional acting tools such as objectives, actions, physicality, and backstory to bring characters to life. They work on scenes structured like audition self-tapes, developing confidence, clarity, and consistency in their performances.

The focus is on learning by doing, developing creative instincts, discipline, and confidence in a supportive, high-energy environment where real friendships often form. Throughout the year, students also rehearse and prepare work for an end-of-year on-stage theatre performance, giving them the opportunity to experience performing live for an audience.

Whether they’re aiming for the industry or simply love performing and want to connect with like-minded peers, this class offers teens a strong foundation and an exciting pathway to keep growing as performers.

Join Screen Acting: Teens at APS Ringwood in 2026 and give your teen the chance to build skills, confidence, and community through performance.
