Jared Kirkwood
Jared Kirkwood is an actor based in Melbourne Australia. He has a bachelor’s degree trained in stage and screen arts from New Zealand’s prestigious college of performing arts in Wellington. Since graduating he has worked full time professionally in film and theatre
productions all around New Zealand, featuring as an elf in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit, appearing in numerous TV commercials and award-winning short’s films such as “Sketch” winner of Wellington film fest where Jared was nominated for best actor.
Jared has performed in countless professional stage productions, his work at the Fortune as ‘William’ in Punk Rock, by tony award-winning Simon Stephens, awarded him with his first professional accolade. Winning ‘best male performance in a leading role’ at the NZ theatre awards.
Jared is excited to bring his diverse set of talents and fresh eyes to Australia. Working to further develop as an artist, while having the rewarding opportunity to give back, by passing on his expertise to the student’s he trains.
Imogen Lamble
Imogen is a professionally trained actor and has been acting since she was 9. Her passion for film and tv has lead her to received extensive training at Acting Performance Studio as well as participating in short courses with the NIDA and TAFTA teams. Imogen has also worked with many of Australia’s leading casting professionals.
On screen, Imogen appeared as Georgie in ABC’s two time Logie nominated show Mustangs FC for her first major role. Mustangs FC has been aired worldwide, being regularly played in Australia, England, America, Africa and Europe.
Imogen is also furthering her film and tv experience by working in the camera department for upcoming professional productions.
Harrison Lane
Harrison Lane is a Melbourne based Director and Actor and has been teaching acting for several years.
During his time studying at VCA for his Bachelors in Directing for Film and TV he wrote and directed festival favorite shorts "The Ghoulies" and "A Mouth to Feed". He was awarded as Lead Director in the inaugural webseries Initiative started by VCA in 2019, where he led his fellow peers from all creative faculties of the university (from actors to screenwriters, musicians and production designers) in creating the webseries "Tech Inc. Global", which had its debut at the following year's Melbourne Webfest.
Post University, Harrison continued broadening his ability to tell stories in unique ways. He formed a production house alongside several peers and directed episodes in the Sexual Health comedy series "Undergarment Odysseys".
That same production house would continue to produce more short films under the name Crispy Yoghurt, where Harrison and his team would create absurdist, comedic and perhaps slightly disturbing shorts that always challenged viewers' expectations.
Harrisons most recent projects include Music Videos for the Melbourne Band Unscored. He directed their debut Music Video "Cowboy", which had a long run in the the festival circuit, featuring in over 30 festivals across the world and snagging wins both nationally and internationally.
Directing Music Videos has been Harrisons most enjoyed creative experience as he believes the most emotional storytelling is told visually.
Imogen Linton
Kassie Martin
Kassie holds a diploma of Musical Theatre from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts.
From an early age, Kassie trained at her mother’s dance school and as her love for theatre grew she went on to study difference facets with Jane Moore, Sharon Lawrence, and Paul Davis. Kassie studied voice at The Victorian College of the Arts. She began teaching over 15 years ago and enjoys passing on her experience and knowledge to her students.
Kassie’s professional Music Theatre credits start from age 10 when she performed in The Sound of Music (US Marta & Brigitta) produced by GFO.
Other credits include the Australian tour of Dora The Explorer (Boots The Monkey), CATS with the Really Useful Group (Electra & Female Swing), The Great Moscow Circus (Russian Swing) and Giggle and Hoot and Friends (Stephanie.) Kassie toured Asia and Australia with the award winning GFO production of Wicked (Ensemble & Female Swing). Kassie worked with the Gordon Frost Organisation on their production of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (Assistant Dance captain and Swing) and was an in the Australian tour of Cinderella (Ensemble). Kassie currently works at the Australian Institute of Music working on their Collaboration projects, musicals and their dance classes.
Thea McLeod
Thea McLeod of McLeod Casting is one of Australia’s most prominent casting directors with a wide breadth of work ranging from international films to television, Thea has a passion for discovering and nurturing the next generation of A list actors from Australia and beyond.
Thea spent eleven years in the UK where she was both an actress and a casting director, gaining much experience on an international level for film, television, and commercials. Since her return to Australia, she has been the resident casting director for “Neighbours” over the past 12 years, Other television credits include the highly acclaimed “Better Man” for the SBS network, the controversial telemovie “Schapelle” for Channel Nine, based on the fascinating story of Schapelle Corby and her trial, and “UnderBelly Files: The Man That Got Away” for Screentime, which was a part of the highly successful crime series Underbelly plus “City Homicide” for The Seven Network & “What ever happened to that guy” for Foxtel. As well as many successful Australian Feature films including “Pawno”, “Spin Out”, “Lie With Me”, “Emo The Musical”, “Summercoda”, “Blinder”, “What if it Works”, “The Menkoff Method” & “Measure 4 Measure ”.
